John Blood – Founder of Southern Blood

Born and raised in Daytona Beach, Florida, John Blood grew up where saltwater meets sand and engines meet mud. From a young age, his life revolved around the outdoors — surfing the Atlantic, fishing the backwaters, and tearing through trails in off-road machines. Every sunrise on the coast and every late-night bonfire built the spirit that would later define his brand and lifestyle.

At 25, John answered a different kind of call — joining the United States Navy and relocating to Jacksonville, Florida. There, he carried the same grit, pride, and Southern roots that shaped him growing up. The discipline and dedication of military service only strengthened what was already in his veins.
